First TELG Workshops for 2015!

Our first events for 2015 are now open for registration, and places are starting to fill up.

TELG’s first workshop in Springfield, south-western Brisbane for STEM students and teachers will be held at University of Southern Queensland’s Springfield Lakes campus on February 19 and 20.  Civil, Mechanical, Robotics and Chemical engineers will work with Year 10, 11 and 12 students (Thursday 19th) and their teachers (Friday 20th), using the very successful ELP and LEaST models.  Registration for these events can be found here (students) and here (teachers).

Our second event, on February 26 and 27, at the University of Southern Queensland’s Toowoomba campus, will be very similar to the Springfield event. Engineers from the areas of civil, mechanical, power and electrical and environmental engineering will provide hands-on experiences for the students (Thursday 26th) and teachers (Friday 27th).  Last year’s student projects was extremely successful and we are looking forward to giving students and teachers new and diverse experiences.  Registration for these two days can be found here (students) and here (teachers).
