New South Wales Events for Semester 2, 2015

Practical Hands-on workshops for Year 10 and 11 students and their teachers!

The Engineering Link Group, along with our industry (Lloyd’s Register Foundation, TransGrid) and tertiary (UTS and UNSW) partners are proud to bring the students and teachers of New South Wales a series of events designed to:

  • Inspire your Year 10 and 11 students to pursue their love of Science, Engineering and Mathematics through hands-on, authentic engineering projects, led by practising engineering, surveyors and scientists.
  • Provide practical and useful resources for teachers that can be incorporated into the curriculum with little or no extra effort.
  • Form positive and useful links with engineers, scientists and surveyors from your local area.
  • Provide useful and up-to-date information about studying at two of New South Wales’ most prestigous and reputable tertiary institution (UNSW and UTS).

As an added bonus, our professional development workshops are BOSTES-approved.

We are running several events this semester (click on each link to download a flyer for that event):

Basic details are set out below, or you can get more detailed information from our website.

The first event, a professional development workshop for Physics, Engineering Studies, Chemistry and Mathematics teachers, is coming up very soon (UNSW – August 5) – so you’ll need to be quick.

All of our events are listed at our registration page – all have details about location, cost, program, target audiences, etc.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
