2015 Calendar taking shape
2015 is shaping as the biggest year in TELG’s history, with a staggering 24 events already in our calendar (most 2 or 3 day events)! Workshops for students will happen from as far north as Cairns to as far south as Melbourne, with many locations in between, while teachers don’t miss out either, with regional and metropolitan locations having the opportunity to develop quality teaching activities while working with practising engineers. It certainly be an exciting 12 months!
This year will also be the first time that TELG will be presenting at other organisations’ events. The first will be at Engineers Australia (Sydney Division) Discovery Day at ANSTO, Sydney on March 26. We are very proud to be associated with organisation such as EA, as well as others like the Queensland Museum.
Another exciting opportunity for Queensland schools (and other states in the future) to excite and enthuse your STEM students and teachers in is also being finalised as I write – stay tuned for more information soon!
This year is our 21st Anniversary and we are very proud to have been able to serve the students and teachers of Australia for that long! We couldn’t have done it without the support of our partner organisations and of course the schools, and you! Details of how you could be involved in our celebrations will be detailed in our blog and on our web page. Stay tuned.
A full calendar of events can be d0wnloaded from our website by visiting our Register page.
Of course, our year will conclude with our annual trip to China, and if it is anything like our 2014 experience, you’ll want to be there!
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or would like to put your name in early to attend any one of our workshops!
