Located at the Cross River Rail Experience Centre, and presented by Engineers Australia, Dream Big is a film for the whole family, celebrating the work done by engineers to inspire our future engineers.
“Dream Big: Engineering our World” is a film that explores the human ingenuity behind engineering marvels both big and small, and reveals the heart that drives engineers to create better lives for people all around the world.
Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders. We want to inspire them to engineer the extraordinary, help solve our planet’s greatest challenges, and improve the quality of life for people in every community in the world.
Parents and guardians* are encouraged to bring their children to this family-friendly event which will also include a number of hands-on, experiential activities specifically designed for 7 to 11-year-old students.
The event will include an introductory address, followed by the movie screening, an interactive Q&A with Cross River Rail engineers and hands-on activities.
Date: Saturday 25th March 2023
Time: 12pm – 4pm
Cost: Parents and guardians are free, and kids are $5 per child. *Please note: children must be accompanied by at least one responsible adult.
Location: Cross River Rail Experience Centre, 151 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane City
How to get there:
- if you are getting public transport, make your way to the venue by 12.30pm.
- free parking is available at QUT, arrive on campus by 12.15pm, and walk to the Experience Centre with a QUT volunteer.
