(Yr 7 - 9) Sustainable City
26/03/2022
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
A perfect introduction to the Engineer – Design – Build way of working. Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 will participate in a simulated early-stage multi-field consultancy to develop infrastructure solutions to elevate life in our cities.
Students will form teams and take on different roles – planners, designers (landscape, interior, architecture), civil engineers and builders in the context of a hypothetical green bridge project.
The workshop will be facilitated by QUT Ambassadors and engineers from the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
The workshop will take place on Saturday 26th March, 2022.
Participants should register from 12 pm at “The Cube” (P-Block), QUT Gardens Point. There will be light refreshments available at registration.
The workshop will commence at 12.30 pm and conclude by 4 pm.
Note: Registration is only confirmed once payment has been completed. Numbers are strictly limited.
(If you intend to pay by direct deposit, please email receipt of payment as soon as payment is made).
