QUT Real World Futures Event
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to take part in QUT’s Real World Futures event – The Future of Working Conference on Tuesday afternoon, 24 March.
Teachers and guidance officers are invited to bring a student group to listen to the internationally acclaimed Associate Professor Michael Osborne – Oxford University.
Read the Forbes article, “Will a Robot Do Your Job Some Day?” on Associate Professor Osborne’s study into how susceptible your future jobs are to computerisation.
This is a free event and all details can be found below and attached. Students and teachers can register as a school group, or individually. Students must wear full school uniform and bring the attached photo permission form.
The Future of Working Conference
High school teachers and students are invited to hear from experts on how the job market will change to equip students for the Real World of the Future.
You will also enjoy a QUT Real World robotics display.
New technologies, shifting consumer demands and new ways of thinking will dramatically change the future of work to the detriment of some industries, businesses, students and careers, but new opportunities will also develop. QUT is pleased to host this half-day conference exploring:
